Our next AVPT event will take place at Caesars Palace on May 19-20th. This will be the headline event of the WSOP Warm-Up Series, and there will be $3,000 in ADDED WSOP bracelet event value added to the prize pool!!!

Several people have asked me if the added $3000 WSOP bracelet value is in the form of one $3k WSOP entry, three 1k's etc. The answer is that it depends on the players at the final table. Caesars is offering one $3k entry, but if the players at the final table would like to split that into two 1500's or three 1000's (or a 2k and 1k), then that's fine. They cannot encourage the players to make a deal...but deal-making is absolutely allowed. If I was at the final table, I would personally be in favor of agreeing that the top 3 finishers get an added 1k WSOP seat each. I have a feeling that others will feel the same. Hopefully this answers everyone's questions.

Yes, we have a meet/tourney ("AVP XVI") on June 23rd. It's a $100 buyin. We will probably also have some unofficial events (i.e. bowling, etc.) during June as well.

I dont have the bankroll to play in this, but I will most likely be playing in the 4PM tournament on that day, the double stack turbo. so if any of you bust out early cause of bad beats and what not I'll be there playing in the afternoon.
