Hogs and Heifers - Downtown Las Vegas

This place is a blast! I have been to Vegas more times than I can remember but never wandered over to check it out. Made it over there with my wife last night after busting out of a tournament at the Nugget. I by no's mean's am a "biker" (I was in my Wild hockey jersey) and have never been on a motorcycle but was welcomed in by one and all. The people there were some of the nicest we have ever run into in Las Vegas. Mix of locals and tourists. Ran into a guy (Ted) originally from Minnesota, talked some hockey and got the history of the bar. It is a Brunson family hangout and host's their beer pong tournament. Bartenders were tons of fun, easy on the eyes and poured a hell of a drink. I was told on the last Sunday of each month they have a live band and BBQ outside in front of the bar. We will be sure to make it back in the future! Minton - does this place get your seal of approval?

I do like hogs N heifers, i've only been there a few times, but have had fun every time. I need to visit a few more times before it gets the seal, but it is a front runner for a seal, I also have a sign that I need to bring down there for their walls. If you're downtown the place is a blast, also sidebar next door is a good stop as well

BBQ you say? I was talking to Minton about my quest to find a good BBQ spot in Vegas. I will need to add this place to the list of spots to try.

Don't to to excited about the BBQ. This place is a bar only (a great one at that). The monthly BBQ is just burgers and dogs I believe.
