Just wondering if anyone has heard of discounts for Cirque tickets if you have a players card to present at the desk.

I am seeing discounts or upgrades on line equal to about 25% off, but am wondering if its possible to find a better deal with a rewards card.

Thank you,

Scrat

so far it seems like 25% is about the best, they were running a promo where locals could get a 2nd ticket for $25...not sure if that's going on or not anymore.

I had a friend who got a cheap ticket to Love, all we did was stop by the box office a few hours before show time, he got on the standby list and they hooked him up with a ticked just before the show. I'm not sure if they all have standby, but it's worth checking out, also there may be a few at the 1/2 price ticket places, but not many cirque shows are usually offered.

The reason I asked was a friend was down and they say they were offered 50% off tickets for Ka with a players card.

So that would mean me holding off advance buying if this is truly available.

After looking into it, I found out my student ID will get me 35% off tickets to shows like KA, Zumanity, Mystere, Love, and Elvis. I wish this applied to O. That one is my fave!

You are almost guaranteed not to find any kind of a discount or promotion for "O". It still sells out nearly every night, and most times it is sold out weeks (months, if a busy / holiday weekend) in advance. They don't offer discounts, because, quite frankly, they don't have to.

The Tix4Tonight booths will offer discounts on some Cirque shows. When we were looking for tickets a few weeks ago, they had some advertised, but most were only about 15% off box office prices.

The "Summer of Cirque" promotion netted me a $55 ticket to LOVE. Yep it's in the nosebleeds but normally a $94 ticket IIRC.

Looks like it offers lower rates to upper categories as well. Friend is heading down on Saturday already told him about it.

And yes my trip report is in the works :)
