Spent a lot of time at this site but never registred a forum account until now. I believe the quality of the stuff everyone else is creating (blogs/reports etc) makes me feel that I don't have much to contribute with .
I´m a swede that will do my 4th trip to Vegas in September (13th-25th). Will stay at Ceasars to start with and play the "Caesars Palace Kick Off Poker Classic" events and then I'l see what happends.
This site has given me loads of valuable info for this trip (and past trips) so a big THANKS to everyone that is writing reports etc.

_________________________________________________ That's part of the beauty of the site. I have over 480 posts and NOT ONE is a discussion of strategy etc. That's because I would be doing nothing basically but recounting stipid moves I've made at the tables. I come here to learn and ask questions. Almost every single person here will help you if you have specific questions about anything Vegas.
For me, the help I've received about things to see, do and don't miss has been a GREAT value and helped me enjoy my Vegas trips just that much more.
I'm coming down to Vegas in a couple of weeks for 14 days to celebrate my son's 21st and the help I've received from many of the members here has virtually guaranteed a "never forget" experience for my son and I. Many great suggestions that I never would have thought of on my own. AVP is a great community, with the added bonus of actually learning something to improve my sorry-azzed play!!

See you in a couple of weeks boys/girls!!!!
Carrera993- I'm so glad to hear that the site has been so helpful to you! I hope you and your son have an amazing trip for his 21st!
As far as you never posting about bad hands that you've played, well bud thats what I'm here for! Please post those hands in the strategy forum and lets discuss them! A few minutes of your time recounting a hand can lead to you not making those same mistakes in the future, which directly translates to increased profits. Good luck on your trip and lets hear about some hand questions you have
Hello everyone. I have been watching and reading from this website for years. I make a Vegas trip every year during Superbowl weekend and this year will be no exception. this year I will try to keep notes and post a report. I will make no promises, it is Vegas and I'm out with friends and family is 2000+ miles away. I do play weekly in my home town area. I have 4 rooms, Mountaineer (15 min drive) Wheeling Island (35 min Drive) Rivers PGH (35 min Drive) Meadows Casino (35 min drive), which I can play. Thanks for all the great reports and amusing beat downs of TBC. You can also follow me on twitter @rantol2.

I've been reading for over a two years and I decided to join yesterday prior to out annual guys trip Oct 6th to Oct 10th. I didn't make last years trip and I'm jonesing for some live poker. Two years ago I survived Binion's Saturday 10K guarantee event to chop final 9. Took that cash and decided to play in the Bellagio $330 Sunday event. I chopped first in that event and I found myself traveling home with over five thousand dollars in my pocket.
I’m looking for some tips on where to play for some solid 1-2 or 2-5 NL cash action. I’ll be staying at Excalibur for the rate so I will definitely head over to check out Aria. I also don’t see playing at Binion’s since they dropped the 10K to 5K. So I’m also looking for suggestions for a Saturday day tourney and any other must do or sees for the second weekend in October.
Hi all, very nice site with lots of info. I plan on going vegas oct23 - nov 2. I would like to try some mix games, maybe i can meet up with some members here. Will the cash game be slow during that period ??
Btw JonFriedberg i email u for Q&A back in 2007 while u were still at cardplayers
