My name is Matt and I'm from Wild Wonderful West Virgina. Thanks for hosting such a great site. It didn't take much lurking to want to climb aboard.

I'm 32 and started playing penny poker in my early teens. I graduated to quarters and dollars in college and really started to relize I love this game. I moved to Tampa for a few years after college during the real estate boom and cut my teeth at the Hard Rock playing 2-4 limit (before they had NL there). I've since returned to WV where the local dog track converted to a casino a few years back. I pretty much stick to the 1-2NL but occasionally get brave enough to sit at the 2-5 (which seldom plays like a 2-5)

I'm making my second ever (first without the wife) trip to Vegas next month and have been searching for some tips and guidance for the trip. So far this site has been the Mecca. Thanks again!

Welcome to the site. Good stuff on poker and other things Vegas here (in case wife wants to go back for a different trip). Before Erie and Cleveland had rooms, I used to spend some time down at Mountaineer. Might still make a trip down occasionally if they run a tourney I want to take a shot at.
