Have folks been? If so, is it worth the $14 admission and bus ride from the strip? I was thinking it might be a nice weekday afternoon activity when the poker rooms are usually a little slow anyhow. Thanks.

I went to an event there, and I have to say I found it quite interesting. I go in for free, but if you have any interest in the cold war or the US nuke program it's a pretty cool experience.

I went a few years ago - I quite enjoyed it but I guess it depends on your expectations.

I don't remember it being that far out of the way - I think I walked there from Terribles casino.

Thanks for the feedback. Globe Trekker went there a while back and it did look like a pretty interesting place. It is only 1 1/2 miles off The Strip, so a manageable enough walk or a quick bus ride depending on my mood.

you can hop on the 202 it has a pick up at Flamingo and The Strip, by Bally's and get off near the museum. A 24 bus pass runs $5

Cool. I am actually reading a book about area 51. I might have to check this place out.
