For what it is worth, I'll actually be in town for part of this series and might see about Event #7 on Monday October 24.

I'm considering skipping this series entirely, especially once the Venetian DSE gets rolling. The structures are horrible and they rake the crap out of these tournaments. The $560 event has 30 minute levels lol. Sure they give lots of chips but they skip levels like crazy on the structure sheet(especially deep when it counts), and for some strange reason don't start antes until the 600/1200/100 level. The point that they introduce antes makes average M/CPR of 1 jump from 1.5k to 2.8k! It's just so terrible to cut stacks in half at level 8 and completely changes the dynamic of the tournament. I really wish they had a rep that could come online and seek out constructive criticism online here or on 2+2 like just about every other poker room that is serious about creating a player friendly environment and running a good series. I guess Caesar's has done a great job of getting max rake out of small buy in tournaments though :-/.

Yeah, I wasn't in love with a $30 rake on a $100 buyin. But I'm not in town for either the MGM or Venetian series and with a $20K guarantee on event 7, I figured it might be worth a shot for just a little more rake than an average daily tourney around town at that price.
