A+ for the gratuitous Scooby-Doo reference.

LMAO this is the most entertaining ongoing rant ive ever read ANYWHERE!!!

Ya it sucks that women ONLY want to have relationships with black guys even though the Lord Jesus clearly despises and hates them  .

and yes tony alot of people are 'capable' of murder but theres worse ways to go and you certainly cant even hope to reach any limited level of normalacy if you dont give MOST people the benefit of the doubt that there not gonna butcher you with an axe in your sleep. loool tonys add for roommates..."must cover majority of my rent if i make a bad call at 'the fitz' and oh yeah...NOT KILL ME" :o :P

tony i MUST meet you, im busy this weekend but you have to tell me where youl be playing next weekend so i can say hi and buy you dinner or something I PROMISE I wont kill u or at least its very unlikely

Starsky, you are exactly the type of person I was thinking of with this idea - single guys making a go of it in the poker world who need a nice/cheap place to live and could benefit from having some roommates with similar interests for a bit of social life away from the tables.

If I can get this deal put together, I should be able to do $400-450/month including ALL utilities and pool maintenance! It will be a bit further than where you are now, but I think a nicer house and cheaper rent would make up for it.[/quote]

JJ, sounds good, I think a couple roomies who play also would be great for all are games. I don't mind a little further drive.
Keep me posted on your progress and next time your in town, pm me and we'll meet up.

Ok so Did you buy the house ?

And I think just for fun you should rent to Tony for like $150.00 month when you have no other renters just so he can watch the house..... And then blog about it put up some hidden cameras and stream it.... it would be internet GOLD !! (Of course im kidding I wouldn't rent him the dog house)

Here is an update.

My bid was accepted by the bank and I have loan approval. Apparently, now what happens is nothing. Sometime in the next 30-90 days I will receive notice that the bank is ready to proceed with the sale at which point I will have 30 days to close. According to my Realtor, I have a 50-75% chance that it will actually close. So a mighty big WTF is in order.

So far, two well-known AVPers have indicated they would be very interested in the house so there is room for one more. I still see no reason I won't be able to do $400/month per room ($450 for the master) with all utilities/pool maint included. At present, I am planning on keeping one BR open for myself and making my LV visits more frequent. So getting to party with JJ is for now a (lame) added bonus...

Once I hear back from the bank, I will update again but please remember that it might be months before anything new. I have all my ducks in a row, so as soon as the bank says go, I will look to close within 7 days to not give them time to screw around any more.

And I will admit the TBC jokes/rants are funny, but please trust me that I am hoping to find a group of serious players who could also benefit from the social and financial aspects of this project.

I thought it was 'mutated radioactive neutrinos from the sun'?

Should I start my bucket list now?

jj: Sounds like an exciting endeavor. Assuming it all comes together, a blog by poker house inhabitants is a must!
