We have finalized the details of the AVP XVI Meet / Pizza Party / Tournament. It will take place on Saturday, June 23rd at Mirage. We will be serving free pizza at 6pm, and a $100+0 NLH tournament will start at 7pm. Our hope is that everyone will come around 5:30-6, have some drinks, eat some pizza, then play a fun (and rake free!) tournament, and if/when busto from the tournament, stick around and play cash games or just hang out for a few hours. It should be a great time...(so good of a time, in fact, that zzjitterzz actually paid $250 to change his travel plans so he will be in town for this!)
Please note the following tournament details: - $100 Rake Free buyin, 10k starting stacks, 30 min levels. Re-entries will be available until 9pm when registration closes. Blind structure to be posted soon. A small % will be withheld for dealers.
- Please reserve your seat IN THIS THREAD. Reserved seats MUST be registered for in person by 12:00pm on Saturday June 23rd (the day of the event). Any un-registered reserved seats will be released to open registration after 12pm. (we STRONGLY encourage you to reserve your seat so you don't get shut out!)
- Open registration (for people who don't have a reserved seat) will begin at 2pm on June 23rd. Late registration will close at 9pm.
- We will guarantee that EVERY ALTERNATE WILL GET A SEAT. Even after registration closes at 9pm, we will continue seating alternates regardless of how late into the tournament it takes to seat them all. ( If it is taking a while, that's ok...have a drink, hang out, rail other AVP'ers, etc.). If any alternate decides that he/she doesn't want to play anymore, he/she can get their full buy-in refunded as long as it is BEFORE they called to take their seat.
- That's it for now, but we will probably add other details to this post as needed, and as questions are asked....so please keep checking in.
