Hi,
Don't want to sound negative, but you originally posted this tour was coming on 05 Aug 2011, it is almost 6 months later and still no dates.
I am aware there are many pieces that have to fall into place to get this off the ground, but I believe that 6 months is sufficient if you are serious about this endeavor.
The excitement of your announcement is starting to wane and people are beginning to lose interest. I am trying to plan my summer trip to Las Vegas and was thinking I could plan it around one of these events, but I don't think it will be possible unless the dates are announced in the next week.

It was actually first posted on December 28th. But I do feel the same way about scheduling. I would like to plan my summer in Vegas, too. Mine will mostly revolve around the WSOP events, but I want to play as many AVP tournaments this year as I can.

+1. PLEASE let there be an event or two the third weekend of June.

You are right, I was looking at the date he joined AVP. I must take back all I said. One month is not too long.
I agree with many of the responses. I just booked my WSOP trip for 06/14 to 06/17 I would have gladly shifted a week ahead/behind if I knew the AVP schedule.
Hopefully in the future the Summer schedule could get out before the WSOP schedule.
By happenstance, I was in Vegas & playing at the Mirage when the AVP Event happened last June. I deeply regreted not playing in it.
Although it was great to see LasVegasMichael again. I also got to meet Santa Fe Rail, Poker Grump, Jon F, Cahewz, etc. It was great to put a face with so many of the screen names.

Hi Everyone! Just letting you all know that we are finalizing all of the details and schedule of the AVPT, and will be releasing it ASAP. We can't really give any details beyond that just yet, unfortunately, despite how badly we want to. That said, I can tell you that the format and structure will be very appealing to everyone, and there are many things that will make our events unique from others, even in the same buy-in range. Our goal is to make this a fun and enjoyable experience for everyone, and that's exactly what we are doing. I apologize that we can't give more details than that just yet, but promise that we will make the official announcement with all of the details as soon as we have the green light from others involved!
Any news on how this is coming along?

Southwest and American Airlines are running really good deals right now. Any chance the schedule is coming out any time soon? Can you at least release the first 2 or 3 months?
