Sorry to sound negative on this one, but what are you actually trying to achieve?
There are already many open poker series in Las Vegas throughout the year. Apart from sponsorship, what would be different about an AVP poker series?
I don't know how much I'm allowed to say yet, but I can say that our business model is different from what you've ever seen for the local series that caters to the everyday poker enthusiast. I'm sure more info will be released soon.

Knowing LVM's affinity for non-holdem type games, hopefully there will be cheap mixed game type tourneys. A-5, 2-7TD, 2-7SD-NL, Razz, Omaha 3-2-1, Badugi, Baduci, Crazy Pineapple etc. The type of stuff you would see in a typical AVP cash mixed game but games you never see in tourney series that are affordable.

Nice ! Long live AVPT ! I wish you a great success. I'm sure this festival will include all we write about all the time on this forum : low and mid stakes buy-ins, great structures, non-hold'em games, etc... Can't wait for the first dates !
Good luck to all the people behind this new Poker Tour, hope to see you soon at the tables !

Well, sounds great, I hope those of us that have been with the site for years will be able to benefit as well, and not just the new comer's jumping on a band wagon because of "name" players
