Harrah's New and Updated Promotions (Bailout,BBJ,HHJ,BClub)

Postby LasVegasMichael on Thu Jul 02, 2009 8:16 pm

Harrah's Las Vegas has once again expanded and updated its current promotions roster.

For July, the current Harrah's promotions are as follows:

Breakfast Club

Play for 1-3 hours starting before noon (and after 8AM) Sunday-Thursday and earn a coupon for $10 per hour (up to $30) on your next session. 1 Coupon can be earned/redeemed each day. To redeem, 1-3 hours needs to be played. Players can earn and redeem during the same time period. This promotion is worth a maximum of $150 hours a week with a minimum of 18 hours of play.

Bailout

Play 75-99 Hours in the month (at any time) and earn $2 per hour cash.
Play 100-125 hours in the month and earn $3 per hour cash.
Play 125+ hours in the month and earn $599.

Money is collectible from the 5th of the following month through the end of the following month. Player must collect bonus in person.

High Hand Jackpots (must use both hole cards, have a pocket pair for quads, and $10 in the pot, does not need to go to showdown)

Quads: $75
Straight Flushes: $150
Royal Flushes: $599

These are not progressive.

Bad Beat Jackpot (Starting on July 15th, 2009)

Starts and resets at $5,000

Losing hand gets 45%, Winning hand gets 25%. All players at table split the remaining 30% - including the winning and losing players.

Qualifier will start at Quad 10's beaten, and will drop by one rank every 2 weeks (on Mondays, 8am). There is no bottom on the qualifier, so after quad 2's it goes to Aces Full of Kings,, then Aces full of Queens, etc.

Hourly Comps:

Harrah's uses the Genesis Bravo tableside tracking units and is part of the HET Total Rewards program. Players earn 100 Reward Credits and 28 Tier Credits per hour of play (this equates to $1 per hour in quick rewards comps which can be used at any Harrah's property restaurant, gift shop, or can be applied to your hotel bill).

As an aside (and strictly personal opinion), this new promotions roster easily places Harrah's as the #1 Promotions driven room on the site. In my years of poker playing, I have honestly never seen a room run so many lucrative promotions all at the same time (with guarnateed money included).

Because of these promotions, Harrah's often has 3-4 morning cash games running when most rooms on the Strip are either dark or running a single game.

Michael,

Among those morning games, do they have any limit games running? I am going to be in Vegas in August and would love to take advantage of this, but I stick to limit since I'm just not that good at and don't have the proper bankroll for NL.

Usually, they do not have a LHE going in the morning. When they do get a 3/6 game, it usually doesn't start until the afternoon, and it doesn't go daily.

However, if you start a list and ask the floor to annouce it, you might be able to get it off the gorund if there are others interested.

Thanks Michael. I'll have to try that. I know limit is not as popular, but it does suit me and I'm getting to be decent, so I want to stick mostly with that.

I will swing by in the morning on my trip next week and see if there is a limit game going. Would like to take advantage of the breakfast club if I can.

Call us before you come in, and get on the list (702-369-5040). That way, we can start promoting the game before you arrive.

This generally true of any game you'd like to play. If we can get 3-4 people to at least sit down, we can usually get the game going.

HLV,

Good to know, but I'm staying right next door at your sister property (IP). So, while I might call ahead, I doubt it will give you that much time to promote a limit game, I'm not quite that slow moving in the morning. Although I have heard IPs elevators aren't the quickest around.

That's good to know. I'll be there in late August and I too am stricly a LHE player. It is good to know that you can get the 10-30 bucks the same day ( after 12 noon). I was not quite as sure before when I read about this promo earlier this year. I'll be staying at the Pallazzo but the $30 back is worth the walk/ride! :D

Can you get hours for both the bail out promotion and for comps? For instance, when you hit your 126 hours, when you go to collect your $599 do those hours go away or do you still carry $129 comp dollars on your Harrah's card?

Thanks,

Carter

Comps do not go away.

The comps are in addition to the cashback bailout money.

If you do all promotions to the max, you will earn all of the following (every month)

1. $150 a week (Breakfast club $30/day x5)
2. $599 a month (125 hours total per month)
3. $125 Comp dollars
4. 3,500 Tier Credits (toward Platinum/Diamond/Seven Star status).

The comps do not expire unless you do not use your card for more than 6 months.

For anyone not living near a Harrah's property, they sent me an e-mail that said you can also get a Total Rewards Visa. If you use that once every 6 months then your comps do not expire. Also, you earn 1 point for every dollar charged. Since my credit card company was being a pain in the butt, I took advantage.
