quote [ I'm so sure that it is +EV for the promotion right now that I had to tell you all about it even though I have had some pressure in the past of a couple of people being annoyed by it. (By me telling people about it). Maybe because they like to play or they deal somewhere else... I can't think of any other reasons why... but maybe "They" might even want to go over there to try to win at "These" prices.

But it is so far off the charts +EV right now, I don't see how anyone could criticize me for it. Even the most critical will probably thank me for the info, as most would probably try to keep it to themselves when it was THIS Good, and they would hope to keep it like it is while they try to pick them off one by one for themselves.] quote

Hey Robby-read the above quote & notice how there is no poker info included, just defensive ramblings that aren't interesting to anyone. If I read your post without these 2 paragraghs it's actually quite good. Why don't you try posting with confidence & ignore the one or two detractors you've had on this forum? Thank you.

I am So Thankful that You Said That... I appreciate that.

You know something... it isn't fair, but I had a couple members bug me so much that I'm a little afraid & shell-shocked... And it's not even my character, but it's cramping my style a little because it HAS happened. It's a good thing you told me so I know how it is being perceived. I don't want it to make my posts so they are not interesting. I can't let that bother me and my posts forever. It's time to get over it & not be so defensive. Thanks a million to YOU !!!

Okay Then: LET'S GO For it... HYSTERIA is Going CRAZY !!!

Especially for the members in Las Vegas, it would be an insult if I did not tell them about the advantageous time period of the promotion right now. I am SURE it is very PLUS +EV. Let me show you... because seven are actually stuck on $599 ... It's Crazy HYSTERIA !!! (sorry, had to)

$599
$599
$599
$599
$599
$599
$599
$400
$200
$200
$100
$100
$ 50
$5,243 Divided by 13 (pocket pairs) equals = $401

Right now the quads are averaging $401 if my math is correct.
That is the BEST time to try to get one of the payouts that I have ever witnessed so far to date. I'm so sure that it is +EV for the promotion right now that I HAVE to tell you.

I am not being selfish with this, so take it from me. This is the BEST OPPORTUNITY I've seen for a long long time... It's at the LUXOR !!!

And many thanks to vegaslocal to help me keep my head held high.

Seriously, are you getting paid for this? I think we get it, you like the promo, and it is at the Luxor. Anyone looking at the Luxor thread has all of this information, you are not updating with anything new.

FWIW, I'd rather rooms don't take a jackpot drop and just let us play poker, that is +EV.

Hey, THIS is the Promotions & Comps Section... If you're in HERE... You're probably looking for VALUE, Right? I thought so. Well here it is !!!

Got NEWs for you... A room that takes no Drop is neutral EV. Not Plus EV. But if you go to the LUXOR Tonight... It IS +EV. Did I mention that over half the Quads are paying $599? The average is $401 Dollars right now. You go next door... you spin the wheel... you get $25. It's not even close.
I guess everybody doesn't HAVE to understand it. All I can do is TELL people. Seriously, I'll be there tonight trying to get "Paid". It's close to the Airport...

No, no jackpot drop is +EV if you can actually play poker. In all my poker playing, live +online, I can probably count the times I've got quads on one hand, maybe 2 if we don't have to have both hole cards play.

Keep the money on the table and in the ecosystem.

Regardless, you are just saying the same damn thing over and over again, and it is detracting from the value of this forum.

YOU are Going To Be My BEST FRIEND !!! No ThunderEagle, you have just apparently been unlucky. Stick with it & your luck will change in the Long Run.

I used to play at the MIRAGE... and I hit the quads a lot, believe me. I, on the other hand, must have been having Good Luck. I was getting $100... But they dropped the prices down to $75... That was a big wake-up call for me.

When you collect the big payoffs at the LUXOR, you can keep the money on the table. You might even have to keep it on there, I'm not sure. It doesn't hurt, because you will have so much money that if you go all-in with another, you will probably have hundreds of dollars more than the others anyway. The last time when I won $400 I kept it on the table. Believe me, when you have all that money on there, other people will respect you, and you can probably win More !!!

ThunderEagle, I'm not saying it over & over. I can honestly say that this is the very 1st time I have ever seen it get THIS GOOD !!! Think about it, if most of the quads are at the $599 level, it's GOT TO BE Plus +EV. It can only add to the value of the forum. This is the kind of thing that opportunistic poker players dream about. Look at the Promotions & Comps Section Menu right now & see how much more exciting and informative it is compared to how it used to be.

Don't be discouraged ThunderEagle, because I know a FANTASTIC place to play if you just want a place with no promotions and you wouldn't even have to think about it.... It's VENETIAN... I've played there many times... it's a great place.

But right now it's really worth it at the LUXOR. You see someday they might all be stuck on $50 & then YOU & Me can go over to the VENETIAN and wait until the HIGH HAND HYSTERIA is PLUS +EV again. Also, the RIVIERA might be getting the DINNER SPREAD in the Future. I'll tell you about that. You could see it in the RIVIERA Room Forum.

It's really true, I know what I'm doing when it comes to promotions. I can share what I know with YOU. I don't get paid by anybody. The only way I get money is if I win. Probably you heard people complaining in the past. Don't worry about it. They probably work at other places that I didn't talk about. They don't know what else to say. So they say things like I post the same thing everywhere... or I write too many capitol letters... or they can't understand the debate... or it looks like spam... or I must be on meds... just anything... but it never makes any sense because it's not the REAL reasons... but I have to stop talking about that now because it makes my posts uninteresting.

I'd rather take somebody like you & make them happy for a change by discussing some real solutions that can make both of us some money. When I look back at my records I usually average at least one or two quads a month. One time at the MIRAGE last year I got two on one day... the Kings and the Sevens... now granted I know that was luck. But it evens out over time, ThunderEagle. And it will for you, too.

I have something in my computer file log to keep me optimistic. I'll share it, also. "The LAWS of PROBABILITY Are in MY FAVOR". And if we do it right, they truly are. I think I got that from the Mad Genuis of Poker. Okay, well I enjoyed our forum discussion with you. I hope we keep in touch.

That's a GOOD ONE... Will you be there tonight?

Oh yeah, that sounds like one... LOL, that I saw on the Treasure Island Promo forum who heard loud noises when he reads a capitol letter and instead of discussing the promotion he discusses about getting headaches from reading exclamation points. How off point can you get. LOL

I'm glad I don't get headaches much, but if I did that would probably give me one. I know you're just joking though. Nice to hear from you again. Are you still dealing there? Or is it only Green Valley Station now? I've played there before. Actually both places. I played one night at Treasure before I wrote the Room Review for them. Okay, take care.

SECRECT Tips for WINNING High Hand Payouts in the HYSTERIA Promotion for Quads...

Go in Low... how about this ??? JUST LIMP !!! Just limp to get the highest implied odds in your favor. What you want to see is a flop, so don't raise people out. When the flop comes you want to get a set. You're probably going to make money in this situation already, but stay calm. You could get paid off BIG TIME, especially if that Quads is going to pay $400 or $599. That's even BIGGER than some of the winners in the free-rolls alone. Many of them play maybe 8 hours for 2 days and all they get is maybe $100. I've already heard about it. Plus they even have to go back the next day like within 11 hours or something just to be able to collect it. But you could win more than them in just ONE HAND by following this advice. Just STAY SMALL until you make it.

And then once you have the set, just bet small to give yourself a chance to get that 4th card For the GOLD !!! Most of the time somebody else will be getting something & they might beat you ALL-IN, so it might just be extra gravy.

And the last part of the advice... In case they notice what you are doing, you can COVER by just limping when you have AA or KK. They will never believe it. They'll just think you're doing the same thing like before, and they might get fed up with you & raise. Then you can re-raise them and if they get frustrated and make the mistake of Re-re-raising you... You can MOVE IN on them and win a Ton !!! They won't know what's going on. That is the way Doyle does it anyway, in his book the big system & hope they come over the top. Well they will when they see you limp all the time because they will think you are weak.

But in the end you can make more than the free rollers by winning BIG in the Promotion with just one hand. Good Luck !!!

Go back further in the pages herein to see some secrets for the staight-flushes, as well. (All Straight Flushes Aren't the Same)...
