Ah, I don't want to be too hard on him. Though it might be fun. I thought Apollo's tone was good, while clear in encouraging him to dial it down a bit. He's enthusiastic and currently gripped by "a high-hand frenzy!" That'll pass.

No, no, this is just another one of those Nigerian spam email messages, with a few words tweaked so its made to seem its about poker. It's not the ALL CAPS that gives it away, But The Severe Case OF Capitalitis.

UPDATE At The LUXOR... The New Bravo System is now in effect... Now you can use your M life card at the LUXOR and you can use your points there or any other MGM property, such as MIRAGE, BELLAGIO, etc.... The same card you use for play at the MIRAGE is now used at the LUXOR. Something's going on at the there at The LUXOR... They spent Thousands of Dollars on the system and Supervisors & Tech Managers were milling around yesterday (last night) looking the place over & checking out the system, etc. There's got to be something going on with all that investment. Somebody's looking ahead there. Food for thought. The Dealers were becoming familiar with the Bravo System very quickly.
UPDATE: The room is playing very soft. I personally won 6 out of the last 7 days there. It's getting busier than before. Last night I hit my own (1st Big Payoff)... It was Quad sixes for a $400 Payoff besides netting a big pot from the stacking of another player. As luck of the draw would have it... Less than ten hands later, a new player who had just set down for maybe his third or fourth hand HIT QUAD NINES... and received a $599 Payoff... There were a lot of raised eyebrows going on...

Uuuh, yeah. This has to be a joke being played on AVP.
It seems some of these pranksters/jokesters are a bit overboard here. Maybe they should keep it in the Joke's Section. The subject is too important here for we SERIOUS PLAYERS to be wasting away with such garbage... Let's get Real... This section is supposed to be about comps & promotions, etc. Maybe we should check their apartment and see if growing lights are raying out. They might be smoking something, yeah?
SECRETS To JackPot HIGH HANDs... All Straight Flush Hands Are NOT the Same !!! Sometimes it seem like THE QUADS take "Center Stage" in the HIGH HAND HYSTERIA at the LUXOR...
But there can be a GOLD MINE in the Straight Flush, and of course the (Royal Flush) Categories... which revolve in amounts HIGHER than the Quads do. In the case of the Royal Flushes, it's MUCH HIGHER. But we really don't need to think about them too much, because they come with the territory. We can fall upon them while playing for the Straight Flushes, which (again)... They are not all the same.
Some food for thought... When choosing to play hands when hunting for some of these big payoffs, always remember half of the value in these straight-flush type hands is the FLUSH VALUE. And big ones are better than lower ones. Ace high flushes are money in the bank so AK* AQ* AJ* AT* are no-brainers. Plus the royals come in play. The King highs are Very Good. If the Ace comes in the suit (on board), it's a great advantage. KQ* KJ* KT* K9*... If the ace is not there on the river & you have heavy action at the end when you have the flush... the King High is going to be the Boss about 70% of the time. With the Queen Highs watch out !!! Because that goes down to only about 50%. But QJ* and QT* are GOLDEN because of the Royal Possibilities & you will have the nut. JT* also FANTASTIC for the same reasons, only with Jacks it's only about 39% tops at the end (with same senario we covered B-4, etc.).
Some of the lower hands are Very Interesting. Some of the best ones are 65* 64* 63* 62* because you can win huge pots someday when you meet up with opponents with A5* A4* A3* A2*. And 76* is very good because you can meet up with an A2*. 75* is good because not many people play T7*.
But WATCH OUT when tryiing to play hands like J9* J8* T8* 97* 86*, etc. Consider what might happen when meeting-up w/ AJ* KJ* KT* Q9* J8*, etc. You see, all jackpot hands are Not alike so play accordingly.
But DO.... GO FOR THE GOLD in the HIGH HAND HYSTERIA... But DO IT SMART.... And Good Luck... may the revolutions be spinning highly when you hit. And that's Honey For Your Money !!!

OMG, is this real life????
Also, the percentages of jack high, queen high, king high flushes winning at showdown are just made up. There's no way to quantify those percentages because some players never raise a king high flush for fear of ace high so there wouldn't be excessive action as well as some other would raise baby flushes and sets on the river meaning a bigger pot for a jack high flush. Bottom line is that excessive action is player dependent and can't be quantified into a percentage on this instant.
But seriously, considering not using the ban hammer just because of sheer hilarity of posts. Well played.
Estimating that the underlined hands might be the only ones played... If you had Queen something suited & acquired a flush by the River... You can see that 18 playable hands could beat it... but there's only 15 hands there that you can beat. So that's already below 50%. Factor in maybe that some FISH might play other bad hands that are suited, and give the benefit of the doubt that maybe it approaches close to 50%.
BentonBlakeman is Right that you don't know the percentages exactly, just like many things in poker that are hard to define/determine, but it helps to think of it in various ways that we have some understanding better than chaos. And he's Right that it all depends on what you know about players.
We are fortunate to have BentonBlakeman as one of the Top people to help all of us on the Site. I appreciate his help.
@###@@@@ All the stuff about scratching heads, etc. We've seen too much of that before. I even had one to say they believed it was a Lyric from a megadeath song before, lol... But I prefer to take all this seriously, like BentonBlakeman's input, which again we all appreciate.
Optimin Timing... Eclipse 4 HYSTERIA Going Crazy ... I'm not sure, but I believe I told the members about the High Hand Hysteria quads equaling an average of $270... taking the amounts of all five and dividing by five. 50 100 200 400 599
Well, especially for the members in Las Vegas right now, it would be an insult if I did not tell them about the advantageous time period of the promotion right now. I am SURE it is very PLUS +EV. Let me show you... because seven are actually stuck on $599 ... It's Crazy HYSTERIA !!! (sorry, had to)
Right now the quads are averaging $401 if my math is correct. That is the BEST time to try to get one of the payouts that I have ever witnessed so far to date. I'm so sure that it is +EV for the promotion right now that I had to tell you all about it even though I have had some pressure in the past of a couple of people being annoyed by it. (By me telling people about it). Maybe because they like to play or they deal somewhere else... I can't think of any other reasons why... but maybe "They" might even want to go over there to try to win at "These" prices.
But it is so far off the charts +EV right now, I don't see how anyone could criticize me for it. Even the most critical will probably thank me for the info, as most would probably try to keep it to themselves when it was THIS Good, and they would hope to keep it like it is while they try to pick them off one by one for themselves.
So like I said, it is truly going crazy over there right now. And it's the perfect time to take advantage of all the others' promotion Drop Dollars of the past... and get some of the BIG Money!!! For those who don't want a full report, I won't tell you which quads are for what amount of dollars. You can see that for yourselves when you get there.
