How was the turnout? I would have loved to play but am playing the WSOP right now. I hope that you will be doing more events like this in the future!

My wish would be for a better location if there will be more of these to come. I was put in the middle of the casino with about 60 other players. Although they were the first to break and eventually moved to the poker area you still sat in the smoke for over four hours. Having no tournament clock, except the small PC that wasn't viewable for most of us was a negative as well.
On the plus side mostly good dealers and good camaraderie at the tables.
I saw something at one of my tables I've never seen before and doubt ever will again. One guy seemingly shoves preflop, (over $8000), and gets called by the guy immediately to his left. Everybody else folds. However the original bettor still has a $25 chip left protecting his cards. With well over 17k in the pot flop comes 33x. First to act throws in his last remaining $25 chip. Man to his left surprisingly tanks, checks his cards a second time, and folds. A collective gasp/wow comes from everyone at the table. The original raiser turns over pocket 3s for flopped quads.

Vic, I thank you for your feedback. I am glad that on the whole it seems you had a good time. We will definitely work on making the next tournament an improvement over this one.
