There are two other ones, one with John Juanda and one with Erik Seidel (not sure about any other FT pros). Not as funny as the Phil Ivey one, but worth a look.

Ivey soft like egg noodle. That's some funny stuff right there.

That is hilarious, and it's too bad that it was deemed too risque for tender American sensibilities. If that commercial had aired in Europe, it would have also involved a donkey, a gorilla, and a soccer team.

Funnily enough, from observing Ivey on the various poker shows, he comes across as inarticulate and without much personality. You could almost get the impression that he was some kind of poker idiot savant without social skills. So his role in the commercial is perfect--he just has to be himself.

That's an old one, but I don't remember seeing that subtitle there before. It's probably 2+ years old now.

The first one is now my all time favorite commercial. F'n US censors and the fragile american public that can't handle something like that! lol

Those commercials were banned NOT because they were too risque, but because they advertise ftp.COM rather than .net.

Yes, that must be why. The production costs of changing ".com" to ".net" must be ASTRONOMICAL.

Oh yes, it would cost at least 15 minutes of what Full Tilt brings in rake

I wonder what the real Mrs. Ivey has to say about that commercial...
