Mirage poker, I am not entirely sure who you are. Maybe your new to AVP. But you obviously are not familiar with the Vegas poker scene or how important the EA's are to the little people. But I will humor you. Do they have to be at least 20 years old? How many rooms fit this criteria? Mike and I need 4 rooms to officially qualify as an EA. Let me know how many you know of.

Thanks,

Perry

You could do an "Old School" vs "New School" EA - which would actually be two EA's

Old School would be those poker rooms that have been open at least 20 (or maybe more) years

vs

New School would be those poker rooms that have been open less than 5 years (TI, Venetian, Aria, Red Rock, - not sure what others fit in this group)

My son, my son, your years are few and your Netelligence is waxing so I shall refrain from lambasting and just point out the post just prior to yours, which you did not catch as you hunt and pecked yours.

Sir,

I "hunt and peck" so that my speling will be correct,

What was that you were saying about your spelling Perry?

Is LasVegasMichael sitting down? I'm afraid I have some sad news.

LVM's very most favorite poker room in the whole world, the beautiful Tropicana Express in fabulous Laughlin, will have to be moved to the "closed" category. They shut down somewhat abruptly a few months ago, no doubt unable to overcome the public shame of the mistreatment of Mr. Mike's entourage last year (was it last year?).

Grief counselors are standing by.

That is an intentional "pun" by Perry, though I am not sure why he thinks my spelling was incorrect?

Perhaps me grammar was a bit off, but naught the spelling.

Sunday night at around 7pm Mike and I meet at the Orleans with the intention of playing Omaha8. We get bored waiting so we leave. Hey we are busy guys who won't wait around! Have a game ready for your heroes when we come to your casino or we BOUNCE!

For no apparent reason, we head to Red Rock. We sit in a 1-2 game and I win $15. At this point Mike suggests that we are on an impromptu EA. So we need 2 more casinos to make it official. Hey these aren't my rules. (Wait, I made up all of these rules.)

Since we are in the area we go to Texas station. They have one game going, a 2-6 spread limit game. We jump right in and I dominate the game. I win $10. After the hot chick in the game leaves, we BOUNCE!

On to the Santa Fe Station. We sit in the 1-2 game, and once again, I DOMINATE! Up $200. I never knew that Mike was a sports fan. But he revealed to the table that he is in a fantasy league. Not football, baseball or basketball. No Mike is in an exclusive figure skating fantasy league. That bitch Tanya Harding cost him thousands!

At that point we thought the night and the EA were over. But no! Just like a great double album(such as the White Album, Physical Graffiti, or Mad Dogs & Englishmen) we have more casinos to hit.

But we have to reenergize. So we go home. Now I live a jetsetting life style. During the day I am doing things that you little people only dream of; pay rent, do the wash, grocery shop, etc. Then its back to the EA!

We start day two at the planet Hollywood, newest Harrah's property. I kill the game. I win $275. Then its time to move on.

We go to O'Shea's and play the tournament. I finish 7th one ahead of Las Vegas Mike. We were just out of the money. There were 8 players in the tournament. Watch for it on ESPN 8, the OCHO. I lose $40, but win the $10 last longer with LVM.

We then go to the MGM. We sit in the 1-2 nl. I stink it up and lose $200. That was enough poker for me. I won $260 on the EA.

After playing and/or being in 7 casinos in 2 days, I am sick and tired of poker. Well, back to 40 hours a week working in a poker room.

Have a fabulous Labor Day folks!

I lol'd a few times. My favorite part was the "Baseketball" reference.
