At the end of the first level, he is at 5,500 in chips. Karina Jett is supposedly the chip leader.

I will be departing for the Rio as soon as my brother gets back so he can babysit (wife works until late tonight).

If he wins, he will be taking me to a steak dinner (his treat, including tip).

Good luck SPP!

Somehow I would have asked for more....

I will be posting and tweeting update's on Perry's behalf.

From Perry at 1130AM:

"First update: I am in the bathroom."

Additional new developments to follow.

The real updated should have been what he had for dinner last night.....

Yes, she approached them or they approached her a few months ago to be the official representative for all MGM poker room things. When that happened she brought the Horse tournament that she promoted at the M over there and has been a frequent person there now either playing or hanging out....

Talon, were you kidding about being able to follow individual players at WSOP.com? If you are serious, please explain how to do it. Thanks.

Didn't realized that got her into the "casino employeee event". So what happens if you had a situation like the Grinder had a few years ago where he was playing at PH or the Jamie Gold deal where he played at the Trop. These guys get in the casino employee event if they wanted to.

Yes, Karina is a paid employee of the MGM Grand Poker Room. She parks in the employee garage, has an MGM casino e-mail, and an employee badge. Slightly different than the handshake and nod situation that some other rooms have had for others.

Just received an update from Perry the Blaster:

"Made a hero call with K-4 and beat a guy with a busted flush draw. Up to 6200."
