Hi All:

Since AVP has liberal policies on posting links, I thought I'd start a thread that linked to some of my articles and blogs that are pertinent to Las Vegas, poker, and usually both. This one will hopefully resonate with those of you who love The Strip...

Thanks, that was a fun read and a nice diversion on a Friday afternoon. ( I really enjoyed the limit article you posted a while back as well. )

Hmmm?? In a strange way I enjoyed that. Not quite what I was expecting, but I think that is what you want the reader to experience. Looking forward to more. I like your style.

One of the attributes of poker players that may be overlooked by the general public is their generosity. But sometimes there are more important things than donating money, such as getting the word out about a wonderful organization that takes care of abandoned pets. If you know anyone who can provide a short-term foster home or long-term adoption, please share the post below with them.

Thanks ~ Kat

I adopt abandoned pots. Is that close enough?

Actually, I'm a sucker for shelter kitties and have fostered several. In particular, there are always several (or more than several) mellow older cats that would love nothing better than to have a home and a lap to snooze on. There are also many single older people who would love a lap kitty. If you know such a person, your local shelter is a great source for a furry, laid-back companion.

Adopting abandoned pots definitely sounds more humanitarian than firing at orphans.

A paws from poker...

I would be most grateful if those of you in the Las Vegas area could spam-I-mean-spread the word about these two cats needing urgent adoption across social media. Or just shout.

Thanks ~ K
