I'm pleasantly surprised to see the how many people around here not only know who Primus is, but how much they suck. Seen 'em at least 4 times (& Les Claypool solo twice), they suck more every time. Need to go out and get the new album...

Forbidden by cab company rules and/or city ordinance, I forget which, possibly both, but yeah, no can do. I wish I could, honestly. Also wish I could while delivering pizzas. These jobs suck. I wanna start winning poker tournaments so I can get rid of 'em :wink:

Primus does indeed suck. Saw them in 1992 (lord, I'm gettin' old) when they were part of the Anthrax/Public Enemy Bring the Noise tour. Rode to the show piled in the back of a pickup, lost my hat and my watch, one guy in our group had to go to the ER, and I shook hands with Flava Flav. It was the time of my young life.

damn, i'm old too. i saw them during that tour also. drove up to fresno and saw them in a great small theatre. a horrible group called young black teenagers opened up (none of them black). anthrax and public enemy were also cool to see.

I saw them once before that in hollywood and a few times after. the most memorable would have to be lollapalooza ('92 or '93, not sure); claypool blew my mind playing master of puppet on bass. i can still hear it and see it. unforgetable.

Well, another weekend of driving a cab in the books. And, it was the worst. Barely cleared $200 total. Had a total of 10 no shows/cancellations. The novelty has definitely worn off. Now, it's just another job. I will plod through because I need the money.

In much more positive news, the mini-satellite is this Saturday. I've re-read "Every Hand Revealed" by Gus Hansen and am now scouring "200 Poker Tells" by Joe Navarro. I am so ready to get back to live poker. I just hope I advance- because of conflicting schedules, this is a one-shot deal. If I don't advance, it's likely I won't play live poker again for about 4-5 months. Should I use my One Time?
