got an email today for a free 2 nights at Rio for the 16th-18th of August for some 20k Summerfest Poker tournament. my Birthday is the 17th of August so im gonna go I think. Should be interesting, but I can not find out any more information on it yet. Says first entry into the poker tournament is free, then they have rebuys for $40. so who knows, maybe its a 20k guarantee poker tournament freerolled and if i bust i can rebuy. we shall see.

anyone else get this email? they had like 3 other offers with it, for different times, but the August 16-18 one is a poker tournament, the others are slot/video poker tournaments.

Heck, got an offer from Trop for Sunday-Tuesday, then the Rio from Tuesday to Thursday. Vegas Birthday Bash is in full effect.

If any of you guys got an offer for this summerfest thing lemme know, I did some digging on it and found that last year it was a single table sng with the top 2 advancing to the next round. they have a tournament on each of the days so if you bust you can try again the next day. the tournament is 3 days, all separate tournaments and you get to play in 2 of the days, at least that is what I gathered from the email anyways. (I am assuming they send this out to a lot of people, but I really do not know, when I checked my TR card balance I do not have any points, so its not like I'm a big player to them, but 2 nights free works for me.)

I already booked my Rio room, a Premium Studio Suite, which I have no clue what that is since i've never stayed at the Rio, anyways. I just gotta book my Trop room now

Yep, I got this offer and already booked my room also. Tournies are ridiculously fast and starting chips are low, AND if you happen to win the main event for that day, Harrahs pays you in free slot play or table game vouchers. But hell, it's a free room for 3 nights. Winterfests/summerfests have been discussed here a few times, so do a search for more info.

I got that offer, too. Already booked my July trip for different days, but I wonder if I could sneak away for the pokerfest in August?
