Last night was quite amusing in all degrees.

I headed to TI at 12:30 AM due to LV Mike's wish to get a 2/4 Crazy Pineapple (sp?) game going. As Mike said in another thread, it took half the players off of a LHE game. We had a table of 7 and I held the 2nd place trophey all night and busted through my $200 in just 3 hours. After this Mike, his wife, and I went to the Coffee Shop for a length breakfast/lunch/dinner and then chatted for a bit in a lounge. I headed back to the poker room to socialize with the night crew and got into a 7 person tourney at 7 am. That report is in the TI thread. Summary: I was 2 for 9 when getting myself or other players all in. Somehow I finished 3rd. I headed home and played The Bigs on my Xbox 360. I really enjoy this game, as it is a nice arcade baseball game and I don't care for the depths of simulation baseball. I'm about to take a week long vacation back to Indiana which is lead by a fantasy football draft with several friends. I really don't think there is a bigger smack-talking evening than fantasy football drafts. I love them so much for this reason.

Sorry for this post lacking anything of quality.

Yay! Hubby just agreed to a LV trip Aug. 9-13. I'd like to play 2/4 Crazy Pineapple that weekend. I lost my butt (but had a blast) playing the 3/6 version a few months ago, maybe I can last a little longer at 2/4. Are you planning on making this game a regular thing?

If my wife has any say in the matter, then YES, it will be a regular thing.

Please reremind us, through the forum, when you are coming to town as it gets closer, and I will definately plan a night when we can all be at TI and playing 2/4 CP again, with you, Yappy, and others.

See you again soon!

I had to drink myself to sleep after reading Mrs. Lederer's post.

I'm sitting at my computer waiting for the rest of the world to wake up and open shop so I can go do my errands. My plane leaves for Indiana in 30 hours and I've got to bury LV Mike in Mariokart before I leave.

I'm unsure if I'm going to get another session at TI in before I go. I've just got a lot of thoughts to answer soon.

Upon returning from Indiana, I'll be accompanied by my loving Mother for about a week. Two days after that my best friend (Silent Bod) comes out for a week. School starts 2 weeks after that. Oh how crazy!

Do you go to any of the casinos in Indiana when you visit?

Since my folks live in Indy I usually don't go to any casinos. All the casinos are about 2 hours or more away from Indy, thus there is no temptation. I did visit Caesars Indiana several months ago and giggled when I felted a local hotshot who left the table wondering what had happened. Apparently he's not seen what players can do outside the "tri-state."

I just got done doing an hours worth of mistake correction. I had booked my flight on Frontier so that I could take my darling dog with me and was double checking everything this morning only to find that dogs must go with checked baggage. I called them to confirm this and they informed me that I needed a hard kennel (which I don't have) and that Las Vegas flights do not allow checked animals through September (too hot) and that I am S.O.L. I was very fortunate they let me have a complete refund and I booked another flight which cost me an extra $300 for my stupid mistake. I'll be sure to watch out for that next time.

Of course, you'll win? Oh, its ON now!

Care to make it interesting? A Point a game, heads up? All 16 courses at 150cc or Mirror Mode. Bonus for a clean sweep?

Point value $1 or $5, your choice.

Or, we could just do it for bragging rights, whichever you prefer.

Welcome to AVP Jon. For those of you who read the 10k challenge in its 2nd week will be able to link Jon (KQsuitedboy) to the Binion's Poker Classic tournament in which I busted a player when we both had KQ suited and I hit mine for the flush. That busted him somewhere in the teens and I went on to chop 5 ways. Now you know who he is.

I met up with a friend from high school last night and was then joined by Silent Bod. It's great to see my friends! After taking 5 talls of Miller Light in about 3 hours, I was driven home and my night ended.

My dad is playing with Molly (my shih tzu who turns 1 year old on Saturday) and it is really cute. I do have a sensative side. (In case any ladies are reading...)

I return tomorrow from my week long stint in Indiana. Plans for the first day are unknown. Maybe I'll just play one hand, win the 6k club royal from TI and leave.

As much as I like you, Yappy, I must say that playing the entire day at TI without you at the table was NOT a bad thing (especially for my wallet) .

[flame]Silent Bod. He lurks here like a troll that comes out only to make posts that berate or belittle me. I love him to death, but this lover of homoerotic material just gave me a BAD BEAT!!!! In a calming home game of NL HE, the avg. stack of the 4 players is over 1,100 chips. The blinds are a gentle 3/6. Bod limps UTG, my Dad limps from the button, and I complete with T,7 of hearts. Mom checks the BB and we see a flop of Kh 9d 6h. As you all can see, I've flopped a gutterball and a flushdraw. I fire a massive 13 into the pot. My mom calls and Bod makes it 75 to go. Dad folds and I call followed by my mom. The turn is the 8d. I've got the nuts. But I don't bet them. I throw a curveball and check. Mom checks. Bod bets 125. I move all in. Mom asks if I'm serious to which I reply, "Wouldn't you go all in with the nuts?" She folds and Bod INSTACALLS with the Q,3 of hearts. He instacalls 900 check/raise with a one-pull queen high draw. He rivers the Jack of hearts. After a bit of a stormy exit he mentions that I'm "going to scour the internet for Ron Paul sightings." I then ask him why he made such a stupid call and he says, "Putting a bad beat on you brings me great pleasure and joy... The implied odds go beyond chips" When he comes to Vegas next week, I'm going to get him sloshed and then stake half the table to extract some revenge. After reading this, feel free to send him a PM with comments about his play.[/flame]

If you've read "Tales from the Tiltboys," you'll understand the concept of "implied tilt odds." It really doesn't matter what your actual or implied pot odds are; you have to figure in the implied tilt odds. This means how much money you'll win by putting your opponent on massive tilt after hitting a one-outer on him, after which time he will spew, spew, spew. ITO can be thousands to one, making even what is on the surface a loony-bin call into a stroke of sheer poker genius.

Just got off the phone with Yappy. He is safe and sound back in Vegas, picking up his Mom, who will be staying with him this week.

I told him I would give him a call later today should we have any TI plans.

The wife and I might be venturing out to TI tonight to chase the club royal at the 2/4 table. We shall see.
