Apparently the turnout was so impressive they ended up cancelling the tournament.

The guy at the desk told me they had almost succeeded in starting up a NL table but apparently they also failed to do so.

Sounds like this room is doing bang up business lately. :(

Heading over for the bouty tournament tonight. Last night was 71 runners. Tonight I would expect 30-40.

Good to see you there, Glenn. I couldn't get anything going and went out early, as you know. Pocket pairs I had to lay down, AK, 89clubs when the flop had a 9 AND 2 clubs and straight draw...etc. I don't mean to seem unfriendly by only waving at you as a way of saying 'hi', but I like to fly under the radar, and small-talking & shaking the hand of a known regular like you can give people ideas. No offense. I just like to be invisible.

But inside I'm saying "Hey Glenn!" :D

No worries Zippy - I won't blow your cover.

I had a good run last night, but went out three from the money. AK v QJ and flopped an A, but then he went runner runner jacks. I got enough bounties to make some money though.

Played here Sunday night from about 8 to 10:30pm. Like the room a lot (physically). Service was very good all the way around. They had a 1-2nl, a 2-4l and a 3-6-9 table going. They had a promotion running where Aces full gets you a square on the board for the next Sunday night game where someone wins money after each inning of the Sunday night baseball game, based on the score.

Are these 1/2 NL games running more regularly yet or are they just weekend pretty much?
