Great looking room but very small, I've heard they're expanding it though, so it should improve. I found the play pretty tough ion the morning as I was the only "tourist". I'm sure the night games are much juicier :)
Drink service is excellent too!

I only played there once, and gave the dealing staff a pretty harsh review, as at the time it was pretty bad.

Apparantly, they have since cleaned up from what I have heard. Not really worth the drive for me, but it was a nice looking little room.

Like you said, lots of locals (reminds me of a Stations casino room), but overall a friendly place.

Went there a couple times in the past few weeks and this room has been dead. 1 or 2 tables at most were running on each occasion.

There were no NL games running and only 2/4 limit running. The tournaments suck with stopping play at 3 players and paying out by chip position as well. They really need to do something to get players in there again.

A couple months back they tried to get a wed. night 3/6 omaha 8/b game going, but AFAIK it doesn't exist anymore. Anyone who watched Queer Eye with Ed Miller may have noticed a cameo of the room on the show too...

My biggest problem with Silverton is getting there. That intersection right outside is under endless construction and seemingly impossible to get through.

Last trip we thought we'd still be"livin' large" by taking Industrial, but that was even worse. Keep us posted LV'ers when (and if) that intersection is EVER complete :)

Stayed there last week (7/06) and the intersection is still under construction. Really not that bad -- only a 5 min delay in peak times.

Once you get through the construction, its only 12-15 minutes to the Mirage. Faster than walking from the MGM.

A pretty little poker room. Standard low games; 2-4 limit and 1-2 NL.

Chip Colectors Alert ! A Poker Room G.O. chip -- $1 denom.

The Tournaments have changed a bit. They are played all the way down to 1st place now. Usually paying 3 spots. They are weekdays at 9am (ugh) Monday through Friday, 10 am on Saturday and Sunday and 6pm Sunday through Thursday. All tournaments are NLHE and cost $45 with no re-buys.

Thanks for the update. I have contacted the poker room manager and have left a message for him to get back to me when he can. If I dont hear anything by wednesday, I'll just go over there and get the updates done asap.

Thanks for the updates, we just got a good mailer today for fall room rates, so it looks like we'll be staying there in November :)
