Thanks for all of the great trip reports and feedback! Jon was nice enough to create this account for us and I am really excited to get involved more on the forum. Myself or Kat will be checking in periodically for any questions you may have. We look forward to seeing more and more AVP'ers in our room and in our forum. Just want to make a quick observation I have made to the new site......I think you all are in very good hands with Jon, Benton, Michael, Photoc, and the rest of the AVP team. We love the new site and the direction new management is taking it. Again, hope to see you all very soon and we look forward to posting.

Welcome to the AVP Forum Adam!
I went ahead and set up your account in green and gave you your custom title so everyone knows it's Aria's official account.
We look forward to your participation on the site.
The Aria Poker Room is one of the best and one of my favorites, and we sincerely appreciate you joining the Forum!

Thanks for the kind words, Adam! Speaking for myself and our community, we greatly appreciate your involvement on AVP. Congratulations on all of Aria's success. You and have done an amazing job, and I only hear great things about your room (when I'm not playing there myself!). Keep up the great work, and thanks in advance for fielding any questions that our members have about Aria.

I have to admit I loved playing at the aria poker room. Unforturnetly last trip I didnt make it there. I hate the walk there from the strip. Especially when i stayed at Harrahs last time. I will be in town again this thurs for 4 days and since i am staying at Planet hollywood it will be an easier walk there. Even though it still kinda sucks. But I like the room so much I will tough it out. A couple trips ago back in march when i was in town, i stayed in the sky suites that were located very close the poker room. And I made a note to always come back to play in the room. And the restaurant Jean George was amazing also. The room was nice and clean, action players, dealers were great and friendly, and I just liked the overall feel of the room. But that walk from the strip has kept me away when i dont stay there. I will be back in jan. and march, maybe I will just stay at aria so it is easier to play there. But ceasers properties always give me a couple comped nights so hard to not stay at one of those. But the aria rooms are fantastic and the poker rates are decent so maybe.

Adam,
Welcome to AVP. I also really like Aria. But I only play limit cash games and I've heard those have been a little sparse at Aria lately. If that's true, then I probably won't wind up playing in your room much. I know I'm in the minority being a limit player but I hope you're able to keep some of those games going.

Dap, you may be in the minority as a limit player but certainlt not alone. I continue to think that many NL players will deplete their bankroll and find that limit isn't so bad.
Does anyone know if there are any dining options that will bring the food to the game/table when playing at the Aria poker room? What options are available there?

Played there a bunch this past weekend and the place was packed every time.
One thing I found a little strange, and I hope the Aria Poker Account is still reading. Aria has a rule that no table talk is allowed. This is much more strict than any other poker room I've played in Vegas and while I see some benefit, I tends to make the games a bit sterile.
I'm all for enforcing "one player to a hand" and not allowing players, in the hand or out of the hand, to talk about a hand in progress. And I think prohibiting the badgering that sometimes goes on where the potential caller tries to get the bettor to reveal the contents of his hand like we're on TV is for the best. But a complete prohibition on doing or saying anything to get any kind of read when heads up seems to extreme; especially if/as it extends to comments AFTER a hand is complete.
I'm curious if there's a clear statement what is and isn't allowed and if they could elaborate on why they have this rule. And does it apply to the big game?
