One more thing, I did witness a pretty bad floor decision.

Two players were heads up on the river and they checked it. Player A said "you got me" and flipped his cards face up, showing something like Jack high. Player B throws his cards FACE DOWN INTO THE MUCK. Dealer pushes the pot to Player A and Player B throws a fit. He says that he throw his cards away because Player A said "you got me." and therefore he didn't need to show his cards. Player A offers to be a nice guy and give Player B half the pot. Player B is not satisifed, the Floor is called over and he rules that because Player A said "you got me" that it was a verbal fold and Player B was entitled to the pot. WTF?!?!?!

Player A was adamant that it was the wrong decision, which it was, but gave the chips to Player B. Luckily it was a tiny pot, like $10 or something. Player B was so upset about the whole thing that he got up and stormed off. I can only imagine how pissed he would have been if the floor had made the correct decision and he got nothing.

IP Jake, or anybody else from Imperial Palace, maybe you can talk to the floor over at Bill's about this because this would have been a much nastier situation had it been a $100 pot.

I will look into it and have a chat with the gentlemen that was working the floor. thanks for the info.

Bill's has $1 no-limit and $2-$6 spread limit going right now. Both games are full and full of action. Bill's also offers $2 per hour in comps on your Bill's players card

Two questions so I can update the OP:

1. Is the rake the same on NL as it is on the 2-6 spread game?

2. The $2 an hour comps are on the Bills card? Will Bill's be accepting the Harrah's Total Rewards card soon, or are they on their own program?

I also have a question about the $2 per hour. Can I use the $2 towards the cost of my room at Bills?

I will be staying at Bill's in two weeks. I think I will try out the poker room even if it is small.

if you don't have a Bill's card you can sign up for one and earn a free t-shirt after you get $5 in comp or just play poker for 2.5 hours.

I was in Vegas this weekend. I think their 1NL game is one of the most random games you can play.

1NL , $20 min, $200 max.

I got there around 12am, and there was 1 full table. Sat and played pai gow for a bit while getting drinks, finally 2 spots opened up for my friend and I. Being how it's 1NL, I played like a donkey .. calling almost any hand to see flops. Bought in for $100. I lost my first $100 pretty fast (20 mins?) then I reloaded another $100 and was down to $30 bucks again. Of course it was really fun, since I never get a chance to shoot cards so wild. Then the night gets better. A few new players sit in .. the loose and aggressive. I start playing TAG mode and was up $200 at the end of the night :)

One guy lost 600? another was in for 500 .. totally ridiculous. It's a good poker room if you want to be people watching, since that after hours club is right beside the tables. It's also good since it has low blinds, but the game could be profitable.

Oh, I rivered a straight flush too!! 9h-10h .. flop is Qh,3c, Kh .. i chased until i got my jH on the river .. ahha yeeeh!!

Thanks IP. I signed up on line for the card and will pick it up when I check in. i am always up for a free t-shirt. Even if it's the kind that shrinks five sizes after the first washing. :x
