On the rules issue, I have to agree that the room has a certain atmoshphere much like Mandalay bay of overkill on stupid rules enforcement.hatever you may say about not liking phonecalls at the table, you can't justify the sometimes enforced sometimes ignored "sure you can have an ipod, as long as it doesn't touch the table rule."

Also there is very unreaosnable enforcement of an imaginary betting line.

If there is a preflop raise and it gets around to the small blind and he tosses in $1 to complete (obviously unaware of the raise) and his action doesn't cause any action after him, why the hell shouldn't he be allowed to take back the $1 and fold. Thats just enforcement of a rule for the sake of enforcing a rule.

During one of the freerolls at the final table the player in the big blind tossed his cards about two inches forward, then realized that he was the blind and there hadn't been a raise, grabbed back his cards and the floor called his hand dead. This was late in the tournament he was already short stacked and this completely crippled him. It was absurd to see this kind of ruling.

I really don't like to see the machine like imposition of rules to kill hands. it turns poker from game to a legal proceeding.

I played 1-2 nl here 4 times during my recent trip to vegas. One table had over 5k on it when I sat down and it had some really loose action until the 3 biggest stacks left. The other 3 times the action was below average for Vegas. There is money to be made here, but there is more else where. I played with LasVegasMicheal the in the first session. Thanks again for doing your part with this great web site. The dealers were all good. Some with better personalities than others. I am not a big fan of the tables, I just don't prefer a race track.

Does the tram between the Bellagio and MC still exist/available for use?

I am staying at the Bellagio and I'm not sure if I feel comfortable sitting down at the 2/5 NL right away and would like to just play a lower buy in 1/2 to start off the trip.

No, it doesn't. The tram has been removed for the City Center Construction. Once they get city Center up and running there will be a new tram.

Since we just started the tourney last week we aren't getting a great turn out, but we get enough to have a good tourney.

Basic tourney questions:

What is the starting chip stack, and how many chips for the rebuy? Rebuy only after busting, or added on any time during the first hour? 25/50 levels to start? 20 minute levels? Ever have antes? Are chips raced off at the break? Break after the first hour? How much is juice, and what is the payout structure?

Once that info is posted, we can add it to the tourney database, if it isn't there already.

What LVM said. I would like to try this tournament, however I would like to see the starting chips and blind structures first.

For the 9pm tourey, it's $60 bucks for $1500 in chips then an optional rebuy for $40 for another $1000, within the first hour. The blind strucure is pretty standard 25-25, 25-50, there are antes of 50 starting at the 300-600.
