Is this one mis-placed? 8)

I hope it was a "correct" call!

If I can get the damn thing finished, I'll be posting a trip report about last week's experiences. However, I did want to make a quick post about the IP during my trip.

I played three different sessions there and the room physically is pretty much as described (which means if you like a smoky atmosphere and tables the size of king size beds - this is the place for you!). The players were pretty much as described as well - which is to say that these have to be the softest games I've ever seen - even for Vegas.

I was very impressed with the dealers and management of the room. Special thanks to Rick the overnight floor guy for forcefully, yet tactfully handling two real ugly situations during two of the nights (I happened to be directly involved with one). With all the drinking that goes on in that place, the staff has to be pretty patient, but assertive at the same time.

I'll be back for a session or two in March. They (and the wildly soft games) have earned some of my business.

Santa

I also frequent the IP poker room, as do my friends. I am a mid/high limit player who has spent his many poker playing hours at the Bellagio 30/60 game the past 2 trips, and the Bellagio/Wynn 15/30 game before that, but I usually stay at IP to get my drinking/gambling/low limit poker fix. It is fun being able to play any two cards, straddle every hand, chase runner runner, and bluff raise all in for 4-6 hours while drinking, lose some money, and get up the next day and win it all back in one pot while playing serious poker. And then I can also play in games with my friends. And yes, I am that drunk guy, but not the mean ill tempered one, I am the loud fun loving one who is trying to bully the table at 1/2 NL or is getting my friends all to straddle/blind raise so it is capped preflop before the cards are dealt at 2/4 limit. Fun times.

Jake or Frank, it has been posted by AVP'r bullybeater that the $2 comps take at least 48 hours to appear on your total rewards card. is this accurate?
bully posted he played on sat jan 12 and on monday the 14th could still not
get a buffet for his comp hours played.
i will be in feb 24th for an afternoon session and i would like the comped buffet chris from TI has not accepted, lol, for my evening meal.
i will be in town through wed noon so we will see what/when the comps
dollars appear on my card. of course i will return in late april 28-may 1
and maybe spent may 1 on your property.

I'll be out that way Saturday through Wednesday and I will be putting in some sessions at the IP just like I do every time I go to Vegas. Let's hope I don't run bad in that donkey pit of a $1-$2 NL game. I've looked for a bottle of Pepto-Bismol more frequently at that table than I have at any $10-$20 NL.

The weekend he was here we did have a problem with the total rewards system this has since been corrected and all play is entered everyday by 10am so if you play 8 hours saturday your $16 in comp will be on your Total Rewards card on sunday morning between 9-10am. Of course if your in a hurry jake or myself can get your play input right away.
